About DevCon 2012 - Yangon

The second Developer Conference in Myanmar will be held on September 14th-16th 2012 at the MICT Park, Hlaing University Campus, Yangon, Myanmar. The 2012 Developer Conference (DevCon 2012-Yangon) is opened to all IT professionals who are involved in any kind of software and solution development; including but not limited to web applications, mobile applications, system development, consumer applications, corporate applications, game programming, educational software, device drivers, natural language development, database design and administration, software testing, machine automation, character and voice recognition, image processing, data mining and processing, and security related software.

The main theme for DevCon 2012-Yangon is Road to e2 Developer.

The "e2" theme has many meanings, and among them are: "efficiency", "essential", "limitless without boundary", "e-everything, e-gov, e-banking, e-hotel, e-solution, etc", etc.

The 2012 Developer Conference Working Group (DevCon 2012-WG) invites all interested parties to submit proposals for the DevCon 2012-Yangon conference sessions.

The DevCon2012-WG aims to acquire presentations and technical papers on the following topics:

  • Developer Solution Techniques,
  • Development best practices,
  • Software testing and quality control processes,
  • Software security best practices,
  • Latest Technical trends,
  • Software industry Challenges,
  • Skill standards for Software industry,
  • And Special Sessions on key factors that are influencing the Myanmar Software Industry.
